Denise Boudrot wins five races at Suffolk Downs, a record for a female jockey.

A resident of Burlington, she goes on to win 94 races in 92 days at Suffolk Downs and more than 1,000 in her career and is inducted as the first female jockey in the New England Turf Writers Association Hall of Fame on July 29, 2010.
